perfect in every way

oh lord, it's hard to be humble
when you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
'cause I get better looking each day
- Mac Davis

Chapter 2 tells us to make peace with imperfection. But what if you're a perfectionist? This is a tough one. Nine pages into the book and I can already see that there is no way I will be able to follow all the rules.

We all have that little something that we would like to improve. Some actively try while others just complain. If you're a complainer, then maybe this chapter is one that you can actually follow. Me on the other hand, when I'm unhappy with something I do everything and anything to change it (totally going against the advice of Carlson).

Something that I just cannot stand is my super thin/fine hair! I don't have the time or money to get extensions so if you suffer with fine hair like mine, I went around the block to some of my favorite salons and here are their suggestions (these products seriously help!!):

1. surface trinity protein cream

why? Because colored/damaged and fine hair needs protein!

2. it's a 10 miracle leave in + keratin

why? replaces lost protein & strengthens hair structure. Make sure to get the bottle with the orange top.
3. volumizing hair care
why? Fine hair gets dirty faster & that means you have to take care of it more frequently. Look for products that don't contain paraffin (i heart bumble & bumble)
